Review for Final Examination
There will be a review session Monday April 27. I will be in my office at about 5:00, so you can come talk to me then. We'll plan on beginning the formal review at about 6:00 PM in Room 305 (or Room 307) Love Building. Depending on the turnout, we m
ay move down to Room 101 Love. I will stick around Monday night for
as long as needed. I will have to be there very late anyway so you
can come in to review and ask questions anytime Monday night that you
need to.
Here is some information that may give you some insight as to what to expect for the final:
- The exam is comprehensive. Everything we have talked about this semester is fair game.
- There will be 40 multiple choice questions and 2 essay questions.
- Each essay will be worth 10 points and each multiple choice question will be worth 2 points.
- Even though the essays are worth less, my expectations regarding their completeness remain the same.
- I can offer the following as advice regarding how I would study:
- Print out the solution guides for the first 3 exams.
- Review all the questions and circle those you do not feel you fully grasp.
- Bring your questions to Monday night's review session.
- Make sure you ask questions about the material you don't understand to a reasonable level of satisfaction.
- I plan on asking approximately 1 question from each lecture we've had this semester. Therfore the online lectures can serve as a helpful resource.
