The device is actually a small computer connected to the server's electrical outlet. Remotely, we can connect to the outlet through the Internet and cycle the power off and on effectively rebooting the machine from anywhere in the world.

In the event Ucompass determines the situation is more serious and may be due to a widespread bandwidth outage occurring locally, Ucompass can route traffic away from your local server to our Backup/Redundancy Operations Center in Tallahassee, FL where your server is mirrored up to six times per day.
