There are six different types of Evaluation Learning Objects inside of Educator at the current time including: Exams, Quizzes, Practice Tests, Worksheets, Surveys and External Assignments. All of these are created using Educator's easy-to-use template style publishing tools OR created offline with programs such as MS Word and uploaded into Educator. Instructors have a remarkable degree of flexibility and control over individual evaluation learning objects.
1) Exams can be timed or untimed 2) Questions can be randomly scrambled so that each student has a different exam 3) Exams can be set up to be proctored 4) Instructors can specify the IP addresses that should allow students to take an exam 5) Question formats include multiple choice, essay, fill-in-the-blank, true-false and matching 6) Practice Tests offer question by question evaluation with conditional responses upon question submission 7) Results of all Evaluation Learning Objects can be exported to any type of spreadsheet 8) Exams and quizzes can be authored by one instructor then transferred to another using the Common Folders feature 9) Learning Games including a Glossary Terms Matching Game and Hangman can be built into Exams and Quizzes 10) Exams can be authored online with Educator or published offline then uploaded into Educator |
